A few tips

Remember to watch what you say. When you are using a companies computer you lose the privacy you would have at home. Your boss is able to see when you log onto social networking sites and how often you are on it. As well try not to send nasty e-mails to other co-workers in regards to your boss because a shocking 43% of bosses monitor workers e-mails. 1. I think the best thing for people to do with their internet use at work is to always expect the boss to be looking over your shoulder. iv worked in places before and when its been dead i take a look at whats happening in the news mostly, I avoid Facebook and youtube, and iv even researched things related to work. And I always remember when the phone rings or a customer comes in, that takes priority, because in the end thats what I'm getting paid for.

  2. I totally agree with durantj's comment. It's always best to expect the boss to be looking over your shoulder when working with a computer in the workplace. Even though, we shouldn't be accessing any distracting websites .. we tend to go on them anyway because c'mon who doesn't want to go on facebook at school or work? Anyways, great blog (y)
